Meet Jackie Krouse

Jackie grew up in Chicago near Joliet, and still loves Chicago with all her heart. She moved to South Dakota for college, attending USD and getting a degree in communications.

After college, she moved back to Illinois, got married and took a job at State Farm Insurance, where she quickly moved up the ranks eventually getting her own agency and becoming one of the top producers in Illinois.

During this time she had two beautiful children who she loves with all her heart. Her oldest, Jordann, is currently attending law school at the University of Washington. Her youngest, Matt, is currently a premed undergrad at USD.

Jackie moved back to South Dakota in 2006 and opened her studio in 2012. She has been creating her beautifully complex abstract works every since. She has shown her work in New York, Florida, Chicago, Minnesota, and South Dakota. Her work has been featured on the HGTV show Down Home Fab. 

Jackie is a pillar of the local art community and loves helping other talented local artists get discovered and find ways to get their work shown.
